| I'm sure that the characters introduced in this arc will show up again, I'll be looking forward to it. I loved all of Kagura's fight scenes, I can't wait for more episodes and arcs centered around her. |
| Fantastic arc! Tsukuyo, Kamui, and Abuto were all good characters, and Hosun was an alright villain. Kagura also got some very nice development. I enjoyed the plot and it was nice to explore this new interesting setting. The action was great and the battles were handled well (Better than Benizakura). The pacing felt nice until maybe the very end. Comedy was on point too. The worst part was probably Seita. I didn't even hate the kid, he just sometimes didn't know when to shut up. 8/10 I want to see Kamui meet Sogo. |

| I don't know what you guys are on, this arc is easily one of the best if not THE BEST arc in the whole show. - Great Gin Fight. - Legendary Kagura Fight. - Tsukuyo a New Great Female Character. (Let's hope she takes all of Otae's screen time) - Kamui a Great New Villain. Which part of Yoshiwara was burning tho? lmao |
| So if it was a heavily cloudy day. Shit luck guys, Hosen would've in that instant where their hopes were crushed, crushed Gintoki for his mains and as the hope continues to exponentially plummet annihilate every mutineer and those loyal and rebuild... People were wagging their fingers when the comparisons between naruto and hunter x hunter were increasing, well surely this doesn't get a pass. Exactly how is Hisoka different from Kamui, down to the relationship breakdown between seniors and character quirks (desires only power, life goal is to kill stronger opponents, grooms potentials, sees 'friends' as tools and nothing more and among other which are spoilers)? Although to be fair, these aren't exactly uncommon tropes but Gintama at least knows about Hanger x Hanger. |

| Great ending to the arc. I can't wait to see Kumui fight Gin ... although it would be interesting to see him against full power Kagura. The end with what they'd done to the place! LOL! and Seita working at a sex store ... highly inappropriate lol. Then what happened when he came over OMG LOL!!!!!! I laughed so hard!!! Ginpachi sensei was hilarious!!! OMG! LOL! |

| Guess I have a new favorite arc, loved it from start and in pretty much every aspect, also nice that it seems to have some relevance in the long run. Can't wait for the next encounter with Kaguras bro, with his craziness and interest in Gin he's too similar to an character in another shounen xD |

| Good riddance Yoshiwara arc. You were boring, waaay too long, overly dramatic and ruined an otherwise perfect, funny comedy. I honestly hate when Gintama tries to be serious and shit. It’d be like Fairly Oddparents trying to be a Kubrick movie |

| Satisfying ending to the arc. I do think Hosen's backstory was way too forced and melodromatic though. One flashback scene would have been enough rather than devoting over half an episode towards it. Glad Kamui and Abuto escaped for further arcs. Kamui especially is really interesting, and I'm interested to see his character explored later, as well as face off against Gintoki and Kagura in the future. All in all this is probably either my favorite or second favorite arc in the series as far as the major serious ones go. Definitely superior to Benizakura and Shinsengumi Crisis, but I'm torn as to whether I like it more than Yagyu. It had the best fight scenes, stakes and world building; but the Yagyu arc I feel just perfectly encapsulated everything that Gintama is into one story arc. Still, excited to see what comes next, as well as where the story goes from this point onward (Once the next serious arc comes at least lol) |

| Shit, just checked and Kamui did have black hair in the ep 42 flashback, also the scene where Kagura is stopping Umibozu from killing him looks kinda different as well. Great arc, in fact best serious arc yet. |

| Abuto will be protecting our Samurai. Good thing but there's also a bad thing. Gintoki's now Kamui's prey. And that's REALLY BAD NEWS. I can't imagine him beating Kamui but oh well it's a shounen anime. And glad to see Umiboze again. I love his character. ''Serves you right'' good one xD Gin appeared out of nowhere and that's when the conversation made me laugh to death. ''Ill attend at your funeral someday'' ''No, I'll attend at your funeral'' ''No, I can top that..'' LMFAO Well most of the conversation was some serious talk about Gin's life and the situation of the town.. Gin doesn't give a fuck about it AT THE MOMENT. Anyway, last half of the episode was hilarious. Seems like everyone is just chilling after the big fight. The kid is working at an adult shop.. when he put that [BEEP] in his ass made me laugh.. | I loved the sun setting in this arc and all the foreshadowing in almost each episode for the sun till the ending Also the arc explained why the Yato clan carries an umbrella with themselves all the time And after all this arc had the great Kagura development At the end of the arc there was buildup for future arc where Gintoki and Kamui would be fighting off Highly enjoyable arc |

| As Gintoki have said, he simply wants a cup of sake served by a beautiful woman, and he totally deserves this much to end the day As someone that has finished all of Gintama and rewatch this arc, not once have the serious arcs fail to impress me ^_^ |

| Gintoki got a dangerous new enemy and with Takasugi existing it could be a problem. It was a nice arc, but I don't like the idea of Kagura wanting to save his brother, even in a life or death fight between him and Gintoki. I like how Umibouzu asked Gintoki if he wants to fight him next, I guess I forgot their relationship is like that, lol. Tsukuyo was nice and I'm sure we'll see her more. And I'm kind of sad Hinowa isn't the Oiran anymore. Also Abuto is alive!! |
