Shopping at the market with her servant, The Doll. The Doll used to be a cruel bandit, that once tried to rape a witch and was turned into a living sex toy. He can't die, he will regenerate every injury (but feel every little bit of pain!), he can't defend himself as his reactions are passive and apathetic. Inside him, his soul is taking every single blow though, and since he has lived like this for several decades now, who knows what's left of the original person. Not that it was a person you wanted to keep around though.
Ofelia found him dismembered in a ditch, where he was thrown by someone after the umpthillion abuse, and witnessed his regenerative powers. So she kept him as a servant, out of pity and also, curiosity. She's completely immune to his strange pheromonal scent that seems to istigate most part of people to put their hands on him, differently than the guy of the vegs stall...
