For me it was Colin Farrell. He looks so good as a blond and what I'd like to imagine Alexander would've looked like. He doesn't do it for me in his natural dark hair. His hetero sex scene with Rosario Dawson is more graphic but even just the brief nude scene as he gets into bed with the male eunuch Bagoas was amazing for me.

Interesting that Troy which was also came out in 2004 - the year of the Olympics in Greece - cut out all the homosexuality from the mythology and became a bigger success. That film too had great costumes for the male cast though. Also interestingly but not at all surprisingly, Aviator - where Leonardo DiCaprio wears the same 'costumes' he wears in almost every film of his and even to this day in real life - won Best Costume Design at the Oscars because they never give a damn about the menswear in films.
